The LA hospital with the highest net patient revenue is Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, with an NPR of $3.9 billion. This hospital is one of the largest nonprofit academic medical centers in the United States, with over 900 staffed beds, over 2,000 physicians, and almost 3,000 nurses. It is a part of the Cedars-Sinai Health System, which is the third most profitable health system in LA, based on NPR, and consists of over 40 locations.

The hospital with the second-highest NPR in Los Angeles is Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, with an NPR of $2.6 billion. This medical center is situated in and partnered with the UCLA campus, and in addition to the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, the campus also houses the Stewart and Lynda Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital and the UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital. Each floor of the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center is dedicated to its own specialty, ensuring that they have all the necessary supplies and support equipment. Each room can also be converted into an intensive care unit (ICU) so that critically ill patients can receive continuous care without needing to be moved.

Helford Clinical Research Hospital, also known as the City of Hope National Medical Center, has the third-highest net patient revenue in the Los Angeles area, with an NPR of $2.2 billion. They are a pioneer in cancer research, prevention, and treatment, with their Los Angeles campus housing a National Cancer Institute (NCI)-designated comprehensive cancer center. In addition to this hospital in the Los Angeles Area, they also have cancer centers in the Atlanta, Chicago, Phoenix, and Orange County Areas.
