With over 700 beds, the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics is the largest hospital in Iowa. The University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics is ranked as the #1 hospital in Iowa for adults and children, according to U.S. News & World Reports. It is also ranked as the #11 children’s hospital in the Midwest and is nationally ranked in two adult specialties and six children’s specialties.

The second-highest NPR in Iowa is found at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center, with an NPR of $862 million.
