The Houston hospital with the greatest NPR is the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, with an NPR of $4.9 billion. Memorial Hermann – Texas Medical Center has the third-highest NPR in Houston with an NPR of $2.6 billion. It is a part of the Memorial Hermann Health System, which is the number one IDN in Houston based on NPR—its NPR surpasses $6.7 billion. The Memorial Hermann – Texas Medical Center is the primary teaching hospital of the McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas. It provides leading-edge care in neuroscience, heart, women’s health, orthopedics, organ transplantation, and general surgery. It is also one of only two Level I trauma centers in the greater Houston area.
