Largest IDNs in Oklahoma
Based on population, Oklahoma is the 28th largest state in the U.S. Definitive Healthcare tracks 169 healthcare facilities and hospitals in OK, which are often part of an integrated delivery network (IDN), or health system.
When it comes to curating targeted healthcare commercialization strategies, knowing which IDNs in Oklahoma are the largest and most financially strong could allow for greater distribution of your product or service among the IDN’s affiliated hospitals, surgery centers, clinics, and imaging centers. Ultimately, the greater the network an IDN has, the more facilities your product or service can be distributed.

What Oklahoma IDN has the most affiliated hospitals?
The Oklahoma health system with the most hospitals is INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center, with 16 hospitals. It is the state’s largest Oklahoma-owned and not-for-profit healthcare system.
The health system with the second most affiliated hospitals is SSM Health in Oklahoma, with 11 hospitals and care delivery sites spanning four states: Oklahoma, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Missouri.
Preferred Management Healthcare Specialists has the third-highest number of hospitals, with ten affiliated hospitals. Its focus is on strengthening rural hospitals, healthcare services, and medical clinics.

What Oklahoma IDN has the highest net patient revenue (NPR)?
The IDN in Oklahoma with the highest net patient revenue is Saint Francis Health System, with an NPR of $2 billion. This health system also has the greatest number of staffed beds and discharges, meaning it has the capacity to see and treat more patients and thus see the higher revenue that comes from this.
The IDN with the second highest NPR in Oklahoma is INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center, with an NPR of $1.8 billion.
Finally, OU Health IDN has the third-highest NPR in Oklahoma at $1.6 billion. Its children’s hospital, Oklahoma Children’s Hospital OU Health, has been recognized by U.S. News & World Report as one of the top 50 children’s hospitals nation-wide for Pediatric Gastroenterology and GI Surgery and Cardiology & Heart Surgery.
