What Nebraska IDN has the highest net patient revenue (NPR)?

The IDN in Nebraska with the highest net patient revenue is CHI Health, with an NPR of $1.9 billion. Its parent IDN, CommonSpirit Health, is also one of the highest-earning IDNs in the U.S.

The IDN with the second highest NPR in Nebraska is Nebraska Medicine, with an NPR of $1.5 billion. While it only has two hospitals, its network also encompasses a cancer center, health center, urgent care centers, primary care clinics, surgery centers, and specialty clinics, all of which contribute to its higher NPR.

How can NPR guide IDN targeting in Nebraska?

Net patient revenue is the total amount of money generated from patient services, and it can be collected through Medicare, Medicaid, or insurance. It is a common metric of an IDN’s financial strength because it shows which facilities have more cash coming in. From a marketing standpoint, NPR can identify IDNs that may have the means to expand their services or update their technology.

However, even though NPR is a common indicator of an IDN’s financial strength, prescription patterns, affiliations, integration levels, and referrals can also provide insights into an IDN. In today’s consolidating healthcare market, collecting IDN information such as this is crucial for creating more effective relationships and converting leads into clients.
